Meet The Artists
Caroline Crawford
My abstract paintings investigate memory of place and travel, and how this compares to reality. There are references from journeys away from home and how I remember a place, as I view my surroundings in vastness or in small detail.
With rhythmic patterns, balanced with composition, line, shape, colour, and texture, these creative relationships, dialogues, and compositions are held within a space.

I hand create art inspired by my encounters in remote wild nature using glass and dramatic techniques.
I have a passion for being in extreme wildernesses. I am concerned about their fragile future and want to raise awareness so others care and protect them too. I use unexpected techniques in my making process which is part of my overall enjoyment. In 2023 I appeared in the BBC TV series Make It At Market.

Fiona Hunter
Educated as a graphic artist I went on to become an internationally awarded advertising art director and creative director, living and working in London, Amsterdam and Cape Town.
What started out as a hobby has now become an all consuming passion. You can find me busy in my studio, an old corner shop in Marlow, creating larger than life heads for interiors and gardens.

I am a collector and creator of joyful colours, curious compositions and warm words drawn together with a bright point of view. Three words are currently present in my art practice: curiosity, clarity and warmth. Stemming from a focused still-life study I've designed a body of limited palette work .

The urban and rural landscape around me is a continuous inspiration to me. I strive to convey the wonder of the textures, colours and atmospheres that our world holds. Building my own language through the medium of paint is something I feel driven to do and share with others.
Stephanie Chappell
Combining my extensive background in graphic design and broadcast with a deep passion for traditional art, I specialize in creating contemporary pieces inspired by the likes of Gauguin and Georgia O'Keeffe. With a focus on colour and modern design, my work includes striking portraits, figurative pieces, and evocative landscapes. I work on commissions as well as exhibiting and selling at shows, galleries and online.
Suri Poulos
I specialise in the intricate Nerikomi ceramic technique developed in China in the 7th century. This complex method involves mixing coloured stains into clay, to achieve decorative patterns without surface painting. I will be exhibiting colourful, intricately patterned, Nerikomi porcelain bowls, jugs, mugs, plates and vases.

I am a happy potter, making functional pots on the wheel using both stoneware and porcelain.
I am an intuitive potter, always looking for balance and that curve, always the curve. I love the rhythm of ceramics. It is a slow paced art form, you just can’t rush it at all. Each piece is individual, made carefully in the hope that it will be cherished and held.
