I enjoy photographing local landscapes, particularly woodland, river scenes and wildflowers, finding the best local places to capture their beauty through the seasons. I like to convey in my images what I felt when I witnessed a beautiful scene or moment. I take inspiration from paintings, especially impressionism, and try to give my images a painterly appearance.
